The Valerii Emporium
The Emporium is the commercial arm of House Valerius.
A massive commercial venture dedicated the the manufacture and supply of quality goods and services throughout the Empire. We have a number of employment arrangements available so please drop by our Forum to see what we may have on offer.
The principal activities of the Emporium are:
- Manufacture and sale of all craftable items from simple tools to entire estates and towns
- Growth of our employees (Slaves, servants and clients) to rise in the ranks of Roman society
- Expansion throughout the Empire
Employment Opportunities and Career Path
- Freelance Supplier: This position is entirely ad-hoc and project based. You will provide your wares to us on a per purchase basis according to our needs and your stocks.
- Probationer: Fulfill your probationer tasks and get to know us (and us to know you). Help out where needed and become an Apprentice or Employee, depending on your skills.
- Apprentice: Report to Falcarius and get taught in the skills you need. Then work hard to master them.
- Employee: A full time paid employee of the house, master of at least one branch of skills.
- Senior Employee: Master of more than one branch of skills who has shown his dedication.
- Client: A member of the Patrician House (or soon-to-be). You have shown outstanding dedication and are fit for taking a leadership role.
- Familia: You have not only gained our trust, but also our love. Few will ever join this rank, and once invited, there is no way back.
- Counsellor: If you ever make it that far, you will have a say in the political decisions of the House.

Note that we recently have lifted these restrictions. You do not have to choose a crafting arm, but are allowed to train your skills as you like. Confirm with Procuratrix Brunhild or the Head of Household, Aconia, however, before.
Soldiers, confirm with the Prefect or Legate respectively.
